I graduated from University College Dublin in 2002 with a BA (hons) in archaeology and geography. I worked as a site assistant and supervisor for six years in Irish archaeology, where I initially developed my archaeological illustration skills creating on-site plans, sketches, sections and maps.
I returned to study at Swindon College of Art in 2008 and achieved an MA in Archaeological Illustration, specialising in artefact illustration, reconstruction artwork and information graphics. I create high quality illustrations for archaeological publication and recording purposes, exploring a range of methods and techniques in pen and ink, watercolour and pencil. I'm inspired by archaeology, the landscape and traditional crafts.
